Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office

Tungkulin ng MSWDO ang magsagawa ng mga programa at proyektong lilinang sa kagalingan ng lipunan para sa mas lalong ikabubuti ng mga Angatenyo. Kabilang na rito ang mga tulong pinansyal, medikal at maging mga programang pangkabuhayan na makakatulong sa pag-angat ng buhay ng mga mamamayan at ng kanilang mga pamilya. Bahagi rin ng kanilang gawain ang ang pagbibigay ng counselling, indibidwal man, grupo o pamilya na nakararanas ng iba’t ibang mga pagsubok sa buhay. Nangunguna rin sila sa pangangalaga sa karapatan ng mga kababaihan at kabataan at siyang panginahing tutugon sa mga pangangailangan sakaling ito ay nalalabag lalo na kapag ang mga ito ay naaabuso at napapabayaan.
