Layunin ng MENRO itaguyod ang balanseng ekolohiya sa kapaligiran sa pamamagitan ng pagpapanatiili ng kalinisan at sanitasyon, pakinabang sa mga likas na kayamanang malayo sa pang-aabuso ng mga ito, reforestation at tamang pangangalaga sa mga basura sa pamamagitan ng maayos na material recovery facilities. Patuloy rin ang kanilang pagsasagawa ng mga programa at proyektong magsusulong sa pagmamahal sa kalikasan. Katunayan, patuloy ang mga hakbangin nf MENRO tungo sa pagiging isang sentro ng ekoturismo ng Bayan ng Angat.
