Arrested for Violation of P.D.1602 as amended by RA 9287 (STL Bookies)
On July 21, 2023, at about 8:00 PM, elements of this Station led by PCPT DARWIN S BAUTISTA together with 301st MC-RMFB3 under the supervision of PMAJ MARK ANTHONY L SAN PEDRO, OIC, conducted Anti-Illegal Gambling Operation that resulted in the arrest of one (1) male suspect.
Initial investigation disclosed that the suspect was caught in the act of collecting bets intended for Small Town Lottery (STL) without any identification from Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) authorizing him to collect bets. Suspect was informed of the crime committed and apprised of his constitutional rights when arrested.
The suspect will be charged for Violation of P.D 1602 as amended by RA 9287 (STL Bookies) before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor in City of Malolos, Bulacan.
