Arrested for Violation of P.D.1602 as amended by RA 9287 (STL Bookies)


On February 21, 2023 at about 3:20 PM, elements of this Station led by PCPT DARWIN S BAUTISTA under the supervision of PMAJ KIDDIE DC BALASOLLA, ACOP conducted Anti-Illegal Gambling operation which resulted in the arrest of one (1) identified suspect.

Initial Investigation disclosed that the suspect was caught in the act of collecting bets intended for Small Town Lottery (STL) without any identification from Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) authorizing him to collect bets. Suspect was informed of the crime committed and apprised of his apprised of his constitutional rights when arrested.
