PRESS RELEASE:
ARRESTED for the crime of Frustrated Murder,
Direct Assault and Viol of RA 10591 in rel. to Omnibus Election Code
Personnel of Angat MPS, Second PMFC and SWAT Team of Bulacan PPO proceeded to Brgy. Pulong Yantok, Angat, Bulacan regarding on the complaint regarding Frustrated Murder, wherein the victim identified as alias Lolo and alias Tata, both resident of Brgy. Pulong Yantok, Angat, Bulacan while the suspect identified as alias Carding (Arrested), 28 years old, single, construction worker and a resident also of Brgy. Pulong Yantok, Angat, Bulacan.
While the victim was in the kitchen of his house the suspect armed with a caliber 38 revolver of firearm came in and shot the victim twice at close range hitting the left chest and lower abdomen of his body. After the incident, the armed suspect managed to escape on foot towards unknown direction. The victim was immediately rushed by his family at the Rogacion M Mercado Hospital in Sta. Maria, Bulacan due to gunshot wounds sustained. SOCO assistance was already requested to process the crime scene.
On the following day, the suspects were arrested and informed of the crime committed and apprised of their constitutional rights when arrested.
Criminal complaint for Frustrated Murder, Direct Assault and Viol of RA 10591 in rel. to Omnibus Election Code is being prepared against the suspect for referral before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor in City of Malolos, Bulacan.
