Ang 2% na kinukuha sa Assessed Value ng inyong property ay nagbibigay pondo sa:
1) 1% - General Fund* ng Local Government
Ito ang pangkalahatang pondo na pinagkukunan ng karamihan sa mga dapat gastusan ng pamahalaan; Para sa Public Safety, Street and infrastructure maintenance, Parks and recreation, at Community Development.
2) 1% - Special Education Fund*
Ito ang pondo na nilalaan para sa mga proyektong pang edukasyon. Kasama dito ang operation at maintenance ng mga public school; pagpapaayos at pagpapatayo ng mga school buildings, facilities, at equipment; at iba pang proyektong pang-edukasyon.
*General Fund - The General Fund is the main operating fund for the City. The major revenue sources for this fund are sales taxes, property taxes, franchise fees, business license fees, unrestricted revenues from the state, fines and forfeitures, and interest income.
*Special Education Fund - This Fund is allocated by the Code for the operation and maintenance of public schools; construction and repair of school buildings, facilities and equipment; educational research; purchase of books and periodicals; and sports development in amounts determined by the local school boards themselves.
